Construction ban: Bane or Boon for the real estate industry

The real estate market had been making good progress in the current quarter. With new bodies and policies such as RERA being introduced, the buyers were becoming more and more confident, which converted in more purchase.
The recent ban on construction by the Supreme Court can halt the progress and restrict that growth significantly. Though the intent of the step is in the right direction, which is to manage solid waste, the drastic step can be a major problem. Since construction creates thousands of job, majorly for daily wage laborers, even a day’s gap can become financially challenging.
