Unlimited FSI strain Hyderabad realtors

A part of Hyderabad’s Real Estate is surging for a change in the unlimited floor space index (FSI) norm especially in and around Hi-Tech City. They fear that if this problem is not addressed, the Hi-Tech City- Madhapur belt might soon run out of the water and be pushed into congestion.
Hyderabad is the only city in India that offers unlimited FSI which is resulting in increased pressure on the ground, leaving less space for water percolation. Even those in favour of unlimited FSI feel that it is better to regulate this norm at least in the IT corridor of Hyderabad.
