With 60% of the country geographically falling under high seismic zone along with increasing population and poorly planned towns & cities, India is prone to natural disasters. It also puts immense pressure on water supply, sewage systems, and other municipal services to avoid large scale destruction as a result of the natural calamity.
The government has implemented strict construction measures and regulations to ensure the safety of people and the buildings in disaster-prone areas. With the right infrastructure and technology, residential and commercial construction will have reduced chances of accidents and casualties.
