Why are millennials now choosing to become homeowners over home renters?

As the second wave of COVID-19 hit India earlier this year, people, especially millennials have begun to rethink and reconsider their decisions looking at how uncertain and unstable times have become. As working from home did become the new normal and more and more remote work opportunities began to come up, more and more millennials started to invest in real estate and secure a home for themselves and their families this year.
These new-age professionals are reverse migrating to 2 and 3 tier cities to get farther from the hustle, bustle, overpopulation, and pollution of metro cities and opting to secure homes in gated communities, where they not only get the serenity they have been missing out on but also the best out of their investment.
